David Hinson
Interim senior Pastor
Rev. Dr. David Hinson joined First Baptist Plainfield as the interim pastor in January 2020. He served as a pastor for more than 30 years before taking on roles as interim pastor in several congregations in Indiana. David earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and wife Pat have four grown children.

Joyce CASTLEMan
associate pastor, Children & spiritual development
Joyce is married to Aaron, and they have one daughter, Beth. Joyce graduated from Southern Theological Seminary with a Masters of Arts in Christian Education. She has led children, youth, family, adult, senior adult, Sunday school, small group, women, spiritual enrichment, and congregational care ministries.

NIKKI EDRINGTON
ASSOCIATE PASTOR, YOUTH & YOUNG ADULTS
INTERIM WORSHIP LEADER
Nikki graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Bible and religion with a heavy focus on Christian ethics and church history. She has a collection of more than 300 books and spends her free time reading, cooking, and writing. She is passionate about building authentic community and teaching young people to love as Christ loves us. She is obsessed with her dog, Martin.

Linda Hood
Administrative Assistant
Linda and her husband John have two grown sons and two grandsons. They lead a small group, and Linda plays in the Church Bell Choir. Linda enjoys cooking, reading, and mowing the grass. In the summer, she and her family like to go boating.

INSPIRATION SERVICE dIRECTORS
John and Reann have been members of First Baptist for more than 20 years. Reann is a librarian at the Plainfield Public Library, and John is the executive director of a national engineering organization. They love all types of activities, especially spending time with their family, which includes two grown sons.

BROOKS WAGLER
Facilities Manager
Brooks served in the United States Army as an Infantryman from 2006-2009 with a combat tour in Iraq from 2007-2008. Some of his medals include the Global War on Terrorism, Iraq Campaign, National Defense Service, Combat Infantry Badge, and Army Commendation. Brooks is married to Jennifer, and they have four children. He enjoys bike rides and camping with his family.
